The high standard of presentation Programmed has consistently helped the Georges Apartments maintain, has meant that the Owner’s Corporation has kept on enlisting Programmed for painting maintenance. The renewed long-term agreement included a full re-paint of the building to provide it with a clean and refreshed exterior.
The complex’s inner-city laneway location and building design combined to pose a compounded challenge, especially with regards to access which Programmed efficiently overcame with a scissor lift and highly skilled abseilers. In addition to safely accessing and painting the tall external walls and light wells, Programmed also needed to be flexible to work around residents’ needs, while timing the re-paint to take into consideration surrounding construction works.
Meanwhile, Programmed’s unique arrangement which allowed costs for the works to be spread across the life of the agreement made the full repaint and on-going maintenance to retain the Apartment’s visage affordable, whilst also providing the Owner’s Corporation with easy budgeting.
