IMS Structure



The Programmed Property Services management team is committed to developing and upholding a culture of personal competence and integrity.  The culture supports our commitment to ensuring zero harm.  Programmed accepts its responsibility for managing health, safety, risk, quality and the environment.  It has established policies and associated guidance relating to these areas within the business. It is the responsibility of management to implement and review the Integrated Management System that incorporates procedures, instructions and controls to assure compliance with Programmed policies, relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. Programmed is committed to protecting our customer’s Duty of Care in everything we do.  Our Integrated Management System is founded on the risk management model, a strong point of difference compared to our competitors.

Health & Safety

Our Managing Director is ultimately responsible for health and safety throughout the business and for ensuring the effective implementation of the health and safety policy. At all levels throughout Programmed all applicable health and safety laws, regulations and approved codes of practice are complied with. The health and safety of the customer, members of the public, the workforce, and anyone else will be safeguarded. Programmed has produced and maintains its own health and safety processes which are embedded within the Integrated Management System. The health and safety processes have been tailored to the environments in which Programmed operates.  

Environment

To prevent damage to the environment we recognise that it is important that we understand and effectively manage the potential environmental impact of our activities; that our operations contribute to sustaining the environment within which we work; and that we comply with all legal requirements in areas where we carry out our business. 

Our commitment extends to all our activities, wherever they take place, which have the potential to adversely affect the environment.  We aim to prevent environmental damage and minimise energy and resource usage throughout all Programmed operations.    

Risk

Programmed Property Services has built the Integrated Management System to ensure that all levels of risk are controlled. Our risk management controls target business, process and task and are supported by our single risk management procedure. This approach provides a framework to manage business and operational risk in the performance of all our activities to meet the requirements of corporate governance. This robust and streamlined infrastructure ensures a consistent service delivery to our customers and the ability to tailor a risk management plan in line with our customer’s needs.   

Quality

The Programmed Property Services Integrated Management System has been designed to satisfy both Programmed and Customers’ expectations. It was designed to deliver the appropriate level of service quality to our customers. In particular, the appropriate review of contracts and projects is of prime importance. The systems are constantly reviewed by all levels of the business to ensure continuous improvement. This is achieved through our change request process and formal management system reviews.  

Certification

Our Integrated Management System (IMS) is a compliant and effective system implemented in all of our projects and founded on the following International and Australian Standards;

  • AS/NZS 4360:2004 (Risk Management)
  • AS/NZS 4801:2001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems)
